Most full grooms take 1.5 to 2 hours. XL breeds (Saint Bernard, Great Dane, Bernese Mountain Dog) or dogs with matting may take 2.5 to 3 hours. We confirm the time estimate when you book based on your dog's breed and coat condition.
Yes. First-groom dogs receive additional patience and a slower introduction process. We do not rush an ungroomed dog through a full groom. We assess on arrival and advise on a phased approach if needed — starting with a bath and nail only, then building toward a full groom over 2–3 appointments.
Yes. Our van is equipped for XL breeds up to and including Great Danes and Saint Bernards. We carry extended grooming tables and high-velocity dryers designed for large-breed coat volume. Mention your dog's breed and approximate weight when booking.
No special preparation needed. If your dog has just come back from a walk, a 20-minute rest and water drink before the appointment is helpful. We handle everything else from arrival.
